Kingery Computer Lab Closed Indefinitely; Capacity Increased in Other Labs

With the recent storm damage to Kingery Hall, the Kingery computer lab will be closed indefinitely. With the loss of this computer lab, we have taken several steps to provide increased computer access in other computer labs on campus.

  • We are in the process of moving 8 computers from the Kingery lab to the Armory Lab, which will result in 31 Windows PCs and 3 Apple Macintosh computers in the Armory Lab (all accessible 24 hours/day).  Further, the Armory lab will be staffed with a student worker from noon-midnight.

  • The Detchon computer lab will remain open until 2am Sun-Thurs now through May 5.  There are 24 Windows PCs and 2 Apple Macs in this Lab, located in Detchon 109.

  • The Library PC Lab and Media Center will remain open until 2am Sun-Thurs beginning next Sunday, April 23, through May 5.

  • If you just need a place to print a paper, feel free to use the computers in the Lilly Library reference area on the 1st floor of Lilly Library.  Note however that the primary purpose of this space is for students doing library research, so please limit your use of these computers for other uses (e.g. printing), to 5-10 minutes.

  • You can check computer lab use and availability in real time on our on-line lab tracker, at:
