This individual has quietly paved the way for those who came after him, and his impact has been felt by generations of MXIBS members. We will salute his many contributions to the College and MXIBS!

History major, star football player, and educator, DJ Singfield, will offer his thoughts on why we have reason to celebrate 50 years of MXIBS history.

4th Annual Celebration of Unity
Pike Place, Downtown Crawfordsville

Join Crawfordsville residents and friends as they celebrate what makes the community great, our sense of Unity. Organized by Humans United for Equality and sponsored by the MXIBS, Hoosier Heartland State Bank, the Journal Review, the Mayor’s Special Commission on Racial Equity, and others.

Business executive and long-time advocate of the MXIBS, Robert E. Knowling Jr. ’77, will offer the keynote address and Coach Robert H. Johnson H’77 will pay tribute to Horace C. Turner H’76.

Matinee Performance of Where is the Beloved Community
Ball Theater, Fine Arts Center

Directed by Heidi Winters Vogel, this devised theater piece will employ documentary theater techniques of story-gathering and witnessing by and with our students and community. The topic will be centered in stories and experiences related to equity and inclusion on our campus and the Crawfordsville community.
