Angela is a partner and intellectual property (IP)/patent attorney in the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, an AM Law 100 firm. In 2023, Angela became the second Black female elected as an equity partner from associate, the first in the firm’s headquarters office, and in the firm’s IP department. She also hosts an award-winning podcast called The Freedom Forum with Angela B. Freeman, which explores the intersection of business, race, and gender in Indiana.
